Examples

Two subscriptions over five years

Input
12/month + 120/year; horizon 5 years
Result
22/month equivalent, 264/year and 1,320 over five years in the selected currency.

How recurring costs are normalized

Annual cost is the sum of each charge multiplied by its annual frequency: 365 for daily, 52 for weekly, 12 for monthly, four for quarterly and one for yearly. Monthly equivalent is the annual total divided by 12.

A monthly equivalent smooths payments across a year. It does not predict the amount charged on a specific statement.

Assumptions and private budgets

Prices stay constant throughout the projection. Discounts, taxes, exchange rates, inflation, cancellations and price increases are not modeled. Convert currencies yourself before combining amounts.

Up to 20 subscriptions are processed in memory. Leaving or resetting the page clears the list; budget entries never enter advertising frames.

Questions, answered.

Is a weekly charge multiplied by four each month?

No. We use 52 weeks per year and divide by 12, avoiding the four-weeks-per-month underestimate.

Can I combine currencies?

No. All rows use the selected currency. Changing the currency changes the label, not the underlying amounts.

Are subscription details saved?

No. Amounts and billing periods stay in browser memory and are cleared when you leave.
